NEXT HOA MEETING, Tuesday, August 17, 2010, 7pm at the Greene House.
The date of the next HOA meeting has been changed to AUGUST 17. With two Board members out of state, we felt it better to just postpone this meeting and plan on meeting in August. We hope you will join us for this monthly HOA meeting. Ernie Lightfoot, AMV, who will be our property manager, will be in attendance and ready to answer any questions you might have for him regarding the management of our community.
We hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable July 4th holiday. Summer is definitely here! With summer also comes lots of children out and about. Please be careful as you drive through the streets and alleys. Children tend to dart in and out without always looking for cars. We also ask that our community members be watchful of potential vandalism. We hear of problems in the various communities around us and we want to be sure our property is kept from harm.
We are finding teenagers walking about our community who do not live here. We had to ask a couple who were standing IN the fountain to please move on. We are hoping this is an isolated incident but we ask that anyone who notices things like this going on to please notify the police. Our community is Private Property.
Our HOA has transitioned over to American Management of Virginia (AMV) and so far... fantastic!!! It will take them a few weeks to get everything in their operating systems but we are so pleased with their progress to date. Please visit their website and set up your account. There are informative items on there as well as an ability for you to view your monthly statements.
A reminder that your dues and special assessment fees should be sent to AMV or can be paid online. The statement and welcome letter you received from AMV in late June has your login name and password. There is also a tear off at the bottom of the statement if you would rather mail in your fees. Their address is: PO Box 2358, 9028-B Prince William St. Manassas, VA 20110
Phone: (703) 530-1550
The Board is now focusing on our alarm problems, parking issues, and general repairs that are still being addressed from the snow this past winter. Nothing can happen overnight, but we are working to take care of these issues.
If anyone has ideas regarding the parking issues, we would welcome you to present your ideas, along with how you would implement them, police them, and fine them, at one of our HOA meetings.
We continue to receive complaints from residents regarding the following:
- Trash NOT being placed in green trash bins
- Dog walkers NOT picking up after their pets
- Garages NOT being used for parking
- Garage doors being left open
- Trash cans being left out
- Vehicles driving through the community with radios blaring
Please be cognizant of your neighbors and follow the rules of the Condominium Association.

Neighborhood Info
* It can't be said enough times, you MUST have a valid hang tag on your rear view mirror if you are parking on any of our community streets, alleys, parking pads and driveways. No other forms of parking passes are valid. Only the red and green hang tags are acceptable. If you do not have hang tags, please contact AMV.
If you happen to notice someone moving into a condo, please do the neighborly thing and pass on information to them regarding these passes and give them the AMV or Board member information so they will not have any towing problems.
* We have been receiving several complaints from tenants who are having noise problems from upstairs neighbors. Unfortunately, this is condo living, but we hope you will all be cognizant of the fact people are living all around you and noise does carry. As a courtesy, please remember your neighbors!
As always, we hope to see you become active within the community. Join a committee, come to an HOA meeting. Our community is only as great as the people who are a part of it. AND, we have many great people in our community!
